Janine Williams

Janine has been dedicated to serving the Pukekohe community as a family lawyer since 2014. In May 2015, she took her commitment a step further and established Williams Law, a specialized family law firm right here in Pukekohe. With dedication to family law cases, Janine's career in this field has spanned since 2003. She is currently in the final stages of completing her LLM degree at the University of Auckland, with a particular emphasis on litigation and dispute resolution.

Janine is appointed by the Family Court to represent children in Family Court cases. Additionally, she has been appointed by the Court to serve as Counsel to assist, in court proceedings under the Property (Relationships) Act 1976 and the Family Proceedings Act 1980.

Janine specializes in all Family Court cases governed by the Care of Children Act 2004, Oranga Tamariki Act 1989, Family Violence Act 2018, Property (Relationships) Act 1976, and the Family Proceedings Act 1980.

Janine commenced practice as an independent Barrister on 3 October 2023.
